9. German Scottie Weekend 2018

At September 8 & 9, 2018 the Scottie-Weekend took place on the premises of the SGV Köppern.

After a few hick-ups during the arrival of the motorhomes on Friday, a large group of Scottie fanciers came together on Saturday on our nice and spacious showground.

Everything was really nice both days and the the participants enjoyed it in a very harmonic attitude.

Our judge for the show, Mrs Bergit Coady Kabel, also participated and demonstrated her superb grooming skills, watched by many interested people.

Our Funday on Saturday offered our well-known games and adventures as well as plenty of opportunuties for conversations (among people as well as doggies). The many visitors came from  the north, close to the Danish border (many thanks again to the Pelludat family for bringing the coursing equipment), Usedom in the east and from the south of Germany

On Sunday, we organized the Scottie Special Open Show.

21 dogs were presented. While this doesn’t seem very much, but with the overall shrinking entry numbers, this entry was still the largest in any German show in 2018. The complete results can be seen on our Results Database.

It includes also some of her observations with respect to handling and grooming. Bergit made these comments also publicly to the participants during a brake including a short demonstration of her handling skills.
